CAMP ACTIVITIES

Meditation

A calming space where campers practice breathing exercises, guided imagery, gratitude journaling, and gentle stretching to build focus, self-regulation, and inner peace.

Dance

Dance classes in styles such as hip-hop, step, Afrobeat, or creative movement to encourage rhythm, coordination, and confidence through self-expression.

Drum

Campers learn basic percussion and rhythm using hand drums and everyday objects, often incorporating group performance and cultural storytelling through music.

Karate

Introductory martial arts sessions teaching respect, focus, self-defense techniques, and body control in a safe and structured environment.

Braiding

A hands-on workshop where campers learn simple braiding techniques, hair care basics, and the cultural significance of different hairstyles through guided practice.

Hygiene / Etiquette

Fun, interactive lessons on hygiene routines (brushing teeth, washing hands), grooming, and social skills like saying "please" and "thank you," table manners, and respectful communication.
